When staying healthy the condiments and sauces are key. Things like salad dressing can add hidden grams of fat, calories, and carbs. When dressing up your salad go for a fat free dressing, or the best, lemon juice. Many people believe that all salads are healthy when actually a Caesar dressing can add about 24 grams of fat. Also avoid mayonnaise by replacing it with mustard. This will keep the calories and the fat way down.
Isn't this blog about indulgences? : )
ReplyDeleteHi professor the whole blog is about eating healthy and getting "the look for less" but i wanted last week to speak about indulging every once in a while. So now it is back to eating healthy and shopping cheap :) Also thank you for the comments i will be sure to make corrections. Also i was wondering if you cannot see all the pictures? They are appearing on mine?
ReplyDeleteI think one of the factors that made the military diet a success is the fact that food substitutions are allowed. If you have some food allergies or preference, that wouldn't be a problem since you can choose from a list of food allowed. The low carb meals are filling and you are expected to drink lots of water to hydrate and to fill full. Green tea and black coffee are allowed that helps curb the appetite and and at the same time will help to rev up the metabolism.
